London city-dwellers may find dealing with active children an exhausting task that leaves them feeling the need to collapse into the nearest undersized armchair for kids. This Sunday, the Epping Forest Festival will allow parents get up off the Milan black armchair to stretch their legs, while kids work off some of that excess energy!
The Epping Forest Festival will take place on picturesque Chingford Plain from 11:00 to 16:00 on Sunday 5th September. Families can expect all sorts of fun activities at the Epping Forest Festival, including craft workshops, jousting displays and a pipe band performance. There will also be a dog agility display, and families are encouraged to bring their four-footed friend along for the Epping Forest Festival “dog scurry”.

Many a Michael Jackson fan mourned the passing of their musical idol in June last year – from electrical contractors who couldn’t resist the occasional moonwalk to car dealers who sing along to Beat It on the way to work, the King of Pop left behind legions of loyal followers. Now fans can catch their favourite Michael Jackson songs performed live at London’s Lyric Theatre, as Thriller – Live takes the stage.
Thriller – Live is a Michael Jackson tribute concert that has been running since before the star’s death in 2009. A group of talented performers treat the audience to spectacular choreography and special effects in a celebration of the famous Michael Jackson music hits.

It is very scarce to find someone who has not heard of the series Lost. Lost fanatics all over the globe were recently treated to the season finale and many of them were left amazed at the series conclusion. The creators of Lost have now released the Lost box set and in celebration of this event, a London cinema is holding a Lost marathon for those who wish to watch it again without any breaks. So we suggest that you leave your Putney property or take a break from your flats for sale Putney hunting and give the Lost marathon a try.
In celebration of the Lost DVD and Blueray release, Lost lovers will be able to experience the ABC series all over again with a London cinema offering the opportunity for Lost fans to marathon series viewing which will last up to 80 hours. This means that all 121 episodes of Lost will be shown and this will give super fans the opportunity to get together and enjoy Lost all over again.

We’ve all seen the legendary Blues Brothers movie starring Dan Aykroyd, aka Elwood J Blues, and John Belushi, aka Jake E Blues. Did you know however, that The Blues Brothers Band was, and is, an actual band of musicians that still performs huge hits from their time as a popular jazz band in the States? Yolanda Be Cool are the latest craze to come from Down Under! Made up of Sylverster Martinez and Johnson Peterson, they teamed up with fellow Aussie DCUP (Duncan MacLennan) to create the overnight international success, “We No Speak Americano”. Released on a small independent Australian label run by house legend Ajax, it uses a sample from an old Italian song penned in 1956 by Renato Carosone and Nicola Salemo entitled ‘Tu Vio Fa L’americano’.

Locnville is Andrew and Brian Chaplin, twin brothers who were born in New York and raised in South Africa. The Locnville recorded their first single by the age of SEVEN and have continued to experiment with a variety of music genres until finally settling on the sound that is Locnville today.
