Even though we have recently waved goodbye to an array of exciting music festivals that have hit London over the past few months, this does not mean that there are no more London gigs on the cards, and the next few months surely won’t disappoint. If you are looking for a gig guide with gusto, then here are just a few gig guide happenings in and around London that you would be mental to miss out on. From pop to rock, metal to disco, this mini gig guide will let you follow the sound of music gigs in London.

LCD Sound System and Hot Chip:

If you looking at getting your feet tapping and cannot seem to find a gig guide that will let you know where to find such a vibe, then get yourself down to Alexandra Palace in Wood Green and enjoy the live funky disco punk sounds of LCD Sound System along with the beat stirring Hot Chip as they bring you the hits that you know and love.

Paolo Nutini:

So, you enjoy music that is more soothing for the soul and cannot seem to find a gig guide that will give you what you want? We are happy to let you know that one of the world’s most chilled out guy, Paolo Nutini, is taking to the stage next month at the HMV Forum so if you enjoy the sounds of this Scottish singer and songwriter, then guide your way down to his gig will only leave you feeling better than before.

Interpol:

Just for all of those indie rock music fans out there, here is an opportunity to tick this band off your gig guide list as Interpol are one of the most inspiring indie acts out there. With the release of their fourth album, there is no doubt that you will be hearing an eclectic mix of old and new songs, showing that this is a gig guide event not to be missed.

MIA

If you do not like to define yourself to a certain genre of music and enjoy mixing it up, there is no other band better to kick start your end of year gig guide with rather than MIA. They do pop, rock, hip hop, funk and pretty much anything else you can think up, and they do it well. Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam will blow you away with her rapping and singing skills as well as perform the hits that will undoubtedly get you grooving in no time.
